French Immersions & Language Club For Adults That Don’t Like Classrooms

Updated: Nov 9, 2022

Helping Adults to Learn French - Naturally

September 15th, 2022 - Experience France (XPF) launches new immersive language program offering curated French experiences for those seeking to learn French with ease. Escape the classroom and learn how to communicate naturally while engaged in unique activities personalized to your interests; from cooking or sports lessons with locals to history tours in and around Paris, the Normandy countryside & the Loire valley. Profits from XPF will be used to provide language coaching to local dis-advantaged groups, fueling the company’s larger social mission.

Hear French, Experience French, Speak French. XPF provides practical, activity-based learning for savvy travellers and expatriates looking to learn conversational French as quickly as possible, in unique French settings that create lasting impressions. Instead of trying to learn alone from an app, or painstakingly memorizing grammar rules, absorb the language and learn how to communicate while exploring the chateaux and cathedrals of the French countryside or visiting the locations where artists like Monet and Van Gogh found inspiration. With Club XPF, our exclusive monthly subscription service, members can enjoy a one week immersion, maintain coaching sessions throughout the year & spread the cost throughout the year.

XPF differs from traditional language schools—we use the same method by which we learn our mother tongue to teach French in a way that’s simple and effective. This “natural approach,” developed in part by Professors Krashen (University of Southern California) & Asher (San Jose State University), also called Total Physical Response (TPR), relies on our brain’s ability to connect and associate our ideas with the surrounding environment. We combine this with Sheltered Subject Matter Teaching (SSMT), pairing personal interests with stimulating activity, to guide natural language acquisition.

Discover the French language while enjoying everything you love about French culture with our local guides. Immersion activities include:

● French cuisine, cooking lessons & ingredient shopping at local markets/artisan stores.

● Photography, French art & painting, historic & chateaux tours.

● Cycle tours, golf, yoga, sports & fitness coaching.

XPF offers three curated immersion packages designed to fit your personal language goals and budget.

1. Dive into a one-week immersion for just under $2,000 and experience French culture, cuisine and history right away.

2. Our exclusive Club XPF Plan includes 12 months of coaching and a different one-week immersion every year, plus unlimited access to personalised sessions through our online audio/visual system—starting at just $350 a month.

3. Or choose our Fast Track French program—complete with one month online preparation, one week immersion in France, and two months post immersion coaching therapy—for under $3,000.

“We’re on a mission to make it easier to acquire languages so that people can communicate better with customers, improve their job prospects & travel the world. Acquiring languages makes us more employable; at home or over-seas.”

Carl Adkins - Founder

We believe that XPF’s program and benefits can be transferred to the broader community. Our mission is to use XPF’s profits to extend our approach to underserved groups, creating an exchange wherein foreign language acquisition is the driving force behind upward mobility. Together with area guides, XPF will coach disadvantaged people to gain necessary skills while learning a new language—expanding opportunity for all.
